GoldChain is exclusively for licensed gold industry professionals. Users must complete KYC verification and provide proof of their gold trading licenses. We verify all participants to ensure platform integrity and regulatory compliance.
Sellers list gold with photos and documentation. Buyers review listings and submit offers. When an offer is accepted, funds are deposited into secure escrow with Escrow.com. The seller ships the gold with integrated tracking. Once the buyer confirms delivery, escrow funds are released and the transaction is permanently recorded on the blockchain.
All funds are held in escrow with Escrow.com, a trusted third-party escrow provider. Funds are only released to the seller after the buyer confirms receipt and authenticity of the gold. This protects both parties from fraud.
One-time membership fees are $50 for Producers, $500 for Traders, and $850 for Retailers. Transaction fees are flat 0.75% for sellers and 0.25% for buyers, with volume discounts available. There’s also a $100 transaction dispute fee (refundable if you prevail).
Every transaction is permanently recorded on the blockchain with timestamp, parties involved, gold specifications, and supporting documentation. The complete chain of custody is verifiable via QR code affixed to the final product.
